I see the request for this recipe a lot, so I thought I'd post mine.

5 lbs black fin or yellowfin tuna cut into chunks
5 boiled eggs diced
Liquid crab boil
Pickle relish
1 shallot diced
1/2 red onion diced
3 ribs celery diced
Dijon mustard
Mayo
Salt and pepper
Hot sauce

Boil the tuna in water with crab boil for about 10 minutes. Let soak another 10.

Drain tuna and cool. You can flake as finely as you like but I prefer chunky style.

Mix with remaining ingredients, adding mayo as needed for consistency.

Voila. Serve over lettuce or on white bread with tomato. Simple and delicious.

This is without a doubt the nicest and most expensive tuna salad ever posted here.

IWEI with gusto and happiness.

Edited to add - I feel the need to criticize.

Could use some Tater Tots

Boiling that tuna is a travesty.
I would eat that raw as is.

Oh man, I want that

Tuna sandwiches remind me of picnics and fishing with my dad.

Gotta pay that money to "go fishing". About 30 lbs of tuna in ziplocs cost me $500.

Amen. I figure trout costs me about $236.32 per pound.
