I could never imagine going to a sandwich shop and getting something completely inedible, (cept Subway) but it happened today at Momma Goldberg's. The worst deli sandwich I have ever put in my mouth. In fact one of the worst things I have ever eaten.

I got the Gobbler - turkey with cheese and pepperoni. Maybe I was asking for it with that combination of ingredients, but it sucked. And the sandwiches are tiny. This place cannot stay open long. That is all.

20 of them in Baton Rouge? Holy shite I didn't know that! Wow Baton Rouge must love a shitty sandwich! Well, a city that packs in Red Lobster every night must know its food.

Oh you mean 20 total in other shitbred towns in places such as Alabama and Georgia. Yes, if things are successful there then certainly they should be raking in the money in south Louisiana, home of great food. You and I should continue this discussion at Dreamland Barbeque on Perkins...oh wait.

Ya catching my sarcasm yet because I'm laying it on pretty thick.

No but in all seriousness, Goldberg's sandwich today tasted pretty much like shite. Just my humble experience.

Well, you see, the Momma Goldberg's here in BR is usually packed with college kids. They aren't known for having the most refined of taste buds. Is it fairly affordable and not filled with rat shite? Serve it up.

That intersection at Highland/State has got to set the record for most chain restaurants crammed into the smallest area

I like their soups better than their sandwiches. The sandwiches aren't anything special but gives me another option besides Subway, Quiznos, etc... Their gumbo isn't bad considering the circumstances. The tomato basil is pretty good too.

If I meet with one of my attorneys and they smell like pepperoni and tell me they are dining at Momma Goldbergs, I'm finding a new attorney.

Thier Reuben is shite. No Jewish Deli or any other deli would ever steam the damned sandwich, in addition it is less than half the size of a decent Reuben. I bought one, and threw it away after they steamed it.

Furthermore, did you really expect a sandwich shop with the word 'momma' in it is really going to be gourmet? Ffs

I have never been so I don't know how it is but you are talking about people who constantly eat at Chipolte in that area.

That should let you know their taste in food.
