Everyone is home from filming so don't jump to any conclusions. Thanks for tuning in. Last night was great. We had 6 contestants in attendance from all over the country.

Jesse, I hope you keep posting but please don't let the cat out of the bag on here. I have my predictions based on what I have seen so far and I can tell you as long as you cook well (which you do), you will be OK. Tommy and Christopher are losing edge. But I have to ask. What happened to Dan? Was it a family emergency?

I wondered the same thing and found nothing online about it why he left. That sort of thing can be unnerving in this setting when you don't know why the contestant left.

Jesse, sounds like a fun watch party. Hope we see more of you next week...in a good way, of course! I've never liked the team challenges, though. I prefer the individual challenges. Everyone making the same dish in parts gets a bit boring.

Pretty sure I was standing next to you in the initial auditions in new orleans when there were about 8 of us in the room with the indian/british chick asking questions.

Well, damn, I was hoping Jesse would slide through. I cringed when I heard he was using venison for that dish. I was hoping there was some pork mixed in. Have to admit the playing looked strange. Darn. Him gone takes most of my interest.

I don't know how Christopher made a raved over dish in 15 minutes.

That was a surprise. Despite the venison I thought Hetal was gone.
Christopher had 15 minutes knocked off his time so he had 45. I think so at least.

GG, I agree with this, it really took the wind out of the sail last night seeing Jesse eliminated. I will still keep my thread updated on the TV Board but not with much enthusiasm. I will be pulling for Derrick from here on out. Hetal reminds me of the athlete on the team that has a dad with lots of money and just plays (or in this case cooks) just because.

Well, I got that real wrong, then! I was doing something else at that stage, so I obviously missed the time on that. 15 minutes didn't make sense. I kept looking at the pasta and thinking "how in the hell did he do that?".

Jesse did well on the show and I congratulate him for that. He's got a lot to be proud of. I'm just sorry we don't get to see more of his cooking.

Thanks to all of you who watch the show and supported me. It was not my best effort last night. I still have not seen the episode because my power was out. When I watch it I will give as much information as I can without breaking my contract. Thanks again.

Well, we're crushed that you didn't make it farther, but proud of you for going as far as you did. You did a great job representing!! It takes guts to even try out for one of those shows, much less make it to the TV shows.

Judging by the way you was talking with GR, probably was a good thing not to see. It was so biased at the end that I almost threw my remote through the damn TV. But I am sure that this show will pave a good path for you in your endeavors to open a restaurant. There is a restaurant close to my house that was opened by a contestant from Cutthroat Kitchen and he has a sign on the side with his picture from the show and it stays packed.

It was terrible editing to be sure.

Made Jesse look bad when it was just a heat of the competition type thing.
It made GR look more like a jerk than was probably the case in the whole interaction too.

This became clear with the exit interview with Jesse at the end. Complete disconnect.

There's no way Jessie deserved to go compared to Hetal. They didn't even eat any of her food. It was beyond disgusting what she put on her plate. The only real fault with Jessie's was the dryness of the venison. I was really pissed when Ramsay sent him packing.

Although dry, Jesse's food was still edible. That was GR way of showing who was boss. When he asked for the member to come down without saying their name. Jesse started to move and returned to his stove. The GR said "Jesse get your arse down here". You knew it was going to be bad at that moment.
