I always feel like everytime I go anywhere in New Orleans that there is always some there less dressed up than me. I have a fear of over dressing.

I would much rather be the overdressed one. I've seen an a-hole wearing a NBA jersey in Coquette and some kid wearing a backwards hat in August.

A normal nice long sleeved shirt with khaki pants will be fine at either place.

This is what I was going to go with because we are walking around a bit. We are shopping for interior shite, which means I will be poor by the end of the day.

No one will judge you for wearing that at either location. Or at least no one should judge you. PRovided they are not jorts.

Jeans and button down will be fine, it's a pretty casual place.

The turtle bolognese and crab beignets are awesome. When I was there they had a braised beef shank special that was phenom. Everything there is great. Can't go wrong with anything.

I don't understand this fear. The converse, sure, but not this.

Toups:

Absolutely get the Meatery Board. They are known for it.

From Yelp:

Also, if they have the bone marrow special, it is pretty amazing.

My photo from this past summer:

I think they serve it slightly differently now when they have it on special, but I am sure it is just as awesome.

Coat at Le Petite and whatever you want at Toups. Toups is super casual.
