Wanna cook some steaks for the wife for our anniversary. Just had boiled crabs today and have some lump meat left over. Anyone have a good recipe for a lump crabmeat sauce to go on steaks?

Melt some butter, a dash of Worcestershire, garlic, a little Tony's and some pepper. Heat the crab in the butter and dump on the steaks. Good and good for ya!

I'm all for it, but how is red meat, butter and salt a healthy diet?

I'm not a fan of crabmeat on top of steaks. I'd do something on the side with the crabmeat, but if you want a sauce, you could make a béarnaise.

Crabmeat on top of asparagus makes a good side. I have an old Bon Appetit recipe we make a lot if you want it. It's for cold crabmeat in a really good mayo sauce atop the cold asparagus. Excellent.

Agreed that crabmeat atop a steak always seems a waste. Make little ramekins of devilled crab or crab au gratin to serve as an appetizer, or small bite-sized crab cakes. Or savory crab beignets....or pretty much anything other than piling it atop a piece of red meat.

A good steak does not need crabmeat on it. We had extra crabs a couple of weeks ago and had steaks for dinner and made crabmeat ravigotte for an appetizer. It was like being at Galatoire's.

Heavy whipping cream, butter, green onions and season to your liking. Throw the crab meat in at the last second and be careful to not stir too much and break up the lumps.

I've lost over 15% of my body weight over the past 3 months eating a diet that allows that kind of meal. Blood work is good and my blood pressure is the best it's been that I can remember.
