Looking for a Good Chinese Buffet in South BR

Have a lunch group that met for years at Great Wall on College. Moved to Teppenyaki on Siegen in last few years. Both are now closed. We don't particularly like King Buffet on Bluebonnet across from Mall of LA.
Any suggestions?

Have you thought about Omi, not buffet, but the food is served family style and plenty of it. Price is very reasonable. 9 of us ate there for $100 before tip.

+1 on Omi. My friends and I go there regularly and the food is great and doesn't cost too much per person when we split the bill (less than $15 before tip).

In the same boat after Teppenyaki closed
A friend of mine suggested Nagoya on Sherwood
Haven't tried it yet

Nagoya is more Japanese, but it still looks like a decent option.

Nagoya is a sushi buffet. Hunan is Chinese.

I searched and there are 2 Nagoya's in Baton Rouge
1 on Market St. and 1 on Sherwood
Looks like the 1 on Market St. is a Japanese Sushi, Seafood, and Steak House and the 1 on Sherwood is a Japanese Sushi, Seafood, and Chinese/Japanese Buffet
Reviews of the 1 on Sherwood seem to be good

I'm a regular at the Nagoya on Sherwood. I like the food there, they have alot to choose from and they have hibachi. It's not the best quality and a bit pricey, but it is a buffet so it gets the job done. My friends are all split on it, some preferred Teppanyaki and others preferred Nagoya.
I suggest skipping the chinese buffet and going to Duang Tawan on Sherwood and coursey for some of the best thai food in the city.

I like Duang tawan a lot... But I got pissed off about 6 weeks ago and haven't been back sense. They put one of those packs of frozen peas, corn, carrots and green beans in my dish.
It's cheap, but for fricks sake. Use fresh vegetables. Started going to Thai chilli down next to city cafe to get my fix.
I'll eventually go back since they are right by my office... Just put a bad taste in my mouth... No pun intended

Everything I have eaten at Omi has been great since they opened. Just remember it is Szechuan Chinese not the usual stuff everyone else serves. It is made fresh with real fresh quality ingredients. Be advised, when they say HOT they mean HOT like Thai hot so be aware what degree of peppers you want.

This may be a little far but I like THE Chinese restaurant on Nicholson. Also Thai kitchen has a good buffet.

Huh, never even realized that Teppenyaki closed. When did that happen?

Go to Omi. The food there is great.
I used to go to Nagoya on Essen, then I got horrible, horrible, horrible food poisoning. I had to miss the St. Patrick's Day parade, I was so bad off. After that, as far as I'm concerned, Nagoya could just as soon burn to the ground.
