We did two of the throw-in-the-oven hams for New Years. Got a good bit left over with a couple of bones. I was thinking of a ham and potato soup. Any recipe ideas or suggestions?

Soup is one. Make those tasty mustard-y baked ham mini sammiches. Breakfast omelet. Cook the bones with a bit of ham in some beans. Vacuum and freeze a bit. It's the gift that keeps on giving.

P.S. Go Panthers.

Good crusty bread, mayo, and ham make a great sandwich. Maybe a bit of mustard too.

Split pea soup and ham are a good combo.

I am also a fan of the white beans and ham idea. Also, 10 (or 12) bean soup.

Ham and asparagus quiche (or other vegetables of choice) is also muy bueno.

Someone else mentioned jambalaya. Shrimp and ham jambalaya is excellent!

Ham and potatoes au gratin.

Ham quesadillas.

Made white beans, last week, with my left over ham shank that was meaty. Added 1/2 pound, browned, 1/2 circle sliced andouille. Served over crumbled cornbread instead of rice.

Couple dashed of La. Hot Sauce.

Money.
