This is some of the funniest food stuff I've seen in a long time. Have to assume these are people who know nothing about cooking/food at all. Zero. It's hard to believe, though.

Tree leaves in my food.

If a woman can't identify that leaf, they can't cook= Not wife material.

I'd be kinda annoyed they couldn't take it out, but I'd just pluck it out and continue stuffing my face.

Yea if you get a burrito, you probably won't notice until you chomp down.

I agree and it's sort of strange that a fast food joint is "leaving" the leaves in the food. I guess they thought the leaves would make the food look fresher or something along those lines.

However, the responses are just hilarious to me. Maybe I just needed a laugh today, but the accusations are so funny.

Where they could once hide in relative anonymity, social media has given the dumbest among us the opportunity to step out into the light. Unfortunately, it also allows their cancer of stupidity to metastasize to thousands of other equally retarded people. It then becomes a "meme", and the nation as a whole becomes dumber.

It used to be someone unfamiliar with Bay Leaves found one in their foo the freaked out alone until someone explained to them that is wasn't an oak leave and why it was in their food. Now, the first thing these morons do is document EVERY menial aspect of their life on social media.

Finding the bay leaf in your RB&R meant it was your turn to do the dishes when I was a kid.

Well, it is a tree leaf. But I forgive holier-than-thou Chipotle, since they are merely serving lowly mexican style food. If they were actually serving truly superior food, such as French cuisine, which of course Chipotle isn't capable of doing, then we would have something to be concerned about. But no matter, it's only Chipotle. No respectable, entry level French cook would forget to remove the fricking bay leaves. But alas, Chipotle is just an evil corporate chain whose cookie cutter stores are just E coli producing shite holes.

I've choked on a bay leaf before so I don't cook with them anymore.

This is one of the reasons why most recipes say to remove bay leaves before serving. They remain quite rigid and pose a threat for choking and for scratching the esophagus/perforating your digestive tract.

But I guess it's not cost-effective to remove them from big batches.
