This is a pop-up restaurant in New Orleans. First Saturday of each month they are at Rook Cafe for lunch. They were at Solo Espresso for breakfast last Saturday. Has anyone tried it? Or even heard of it?

Haven't tried them yet. I wanted to hit one of their pop-ups at Carrollton Market a while back but missed it. I'm admittedly uneducated in Burmese cuisine.
Is Rook the place on Freret?

Yes, it's on Freret. Dec. 5th will be the next time there.
They will also be at Milkfish the next three Wednesdays for lunch and dinner, and at The Tibetan House on Saturday Nov. 28 serving vegan dinner.
I've only had one experience with Burmese food. I had the tea leaf salad (awesome) and a catfish chowder made with lemon grass, ginger, cilantro and lemons. I think there were rice noodles in it, too.
I really want that salad again!

This outfit provided the Tuesday CCFM green plate a few months ago...tried to purchase what looked like a lovely, herb-focused salad (don't remember the name) and another dish I can't recall...but it was a 20-minute wait (!) for a takeaway lunch. Ain't nobody got time for dat....hope their pop up operation is a bit more efficient than the amateur bumbling I saw at CCFM.
