We went and had drinks there last night and it was great. Crowd was in their lates twenties to early forties. Besides for the layout you would never know it used to be chelseas. Drinks and service were both very good. We didn't try the food so I can't report on that yet.

On a scale of 1-10, how pretentious was the crowd?

It's Baton Rouge, they've never seen a 10 on a scale of pretentious crowds. I'm sure it's fine and the normal overpass area crowd.

Went last week for Sunday brunch. Had the lamb tacos and they were great. They did a very nice job renovating that place.

It's under an overpass.

Went a few weeks ago. Food was very good along with the service. Had a 15 minute wait so had a drink in the bar, which is setup kind of like a lounge. Very good place to be on a wait.

I had the hangar steak, which was delicious. Split the cerviche app, which was just as good. I think she had the tomato basil soup and something else. Very good also.

Service was spot on so if they keep this up, I imagine they will do very well there.

Is the building still separated into two sides with one of them being a bar or is this converted into a larger dining area now?

We had a very good experience last night. Ever dish was well executed. Not a single offering missed the mark and service was fine, also. Atmosphere is nice...casual but with the opportunity to enjoy high end cuisine.

Business traffic looked good. Hopefully, BR takes advantage of this asset and supports it.

Went Thursday night with the wife and we had the duck breast wellingnton, smoked tomato soup, hangar steak and the scallops. All were excellent, service was on point. Admittedly I'm biased as Kelley is a close friend, so take my review for with a grain of salt.

We had all of the apps. 6 total.

We had the tuna, salmon, scallops, and gulf fish (striped bass) entrees, plus the four sides on the menu.

And we had the strawberry and chocolate desserts. All very good...plus some good Cab and cocktails.
