So we went to rama with a few friends tonight. Ordered my usual lemon grass soup and pad thai 5x spicy.

Halfway through the meal, felt a little "off" and wasn't sure if it was the food or the fact that we didnt get to eat since 6 last night.

Drove home...and jesus christ, I swear my insides are ripping themselves apart.

Never been hit with food poisoning quite this fast before.

Not to be crude, but certain features of the meal that are not standard fare have passed through me in under 40 minutes.

Wtf is going on, it's one of my favorite restaurants in BR.

...hadnt eaten in 24 hours, and havent eaten cilantro or shrimp in weeks.

The only thing I can think is the lemon grass soup came out warm and had the shrimp in it that usually cook in the broth. They were underdone..but I didnt think anything of it.

This is one of the worst pains ever experienced, tops burns and dislocated shoulders easily.

Edit, I get food poisoning usually takes 24 to 48. But jesus.

Both MedLine Plus and Williams University say that it takes hours, not minutes, for symptoms of food poisoning to show up. I trust them.

bacterial toxin food poisoning can come in as little time as 2-6 hours.

Whether that helps or not, it is still the truth.
