Johnny's can be hit or miss, but it's close to my house.

Last week I ordered, and they did a good job. I think the secret to getting a quality pizza from Johnny's is telling them extra cheese with jalapenos, added to whichever pizza you are getting.

The pizzas sometimes come out dry and bland unless you get the right kind.

Thanks for the recs everyone. I'll report back once I check it out. I really hope it's not like CiCi's. That's the only pizza I refuse to eat

You NOLA area pizza snobs need to move up here to the Richmond area where I live and enjoy the same old same old copycat NY style pizza that I am forced to eat. The pizza box may as well be the dough and crust which is 40 percent of it. You do realize that Johnnys makes their pizza dough the evening before because it is sourdough and it has to rise. Saying Johnnys sucks just makes me roll my eyes AND OU812 is back!

People who have tried Johnnys only in and around Baton Rouge need to step back because those aren't true Johnny's for whatever reason . The one that opened in St Martinville is just like the North LA ones so if you are ever in the area come try it out......

We need to get a list of the good Johnny's pizza. I would love to try a real one. Is it the cheese sauce that separates them ?

I've tried the Johnny's in both Farmerville (buffet) and Bossier (take-out order).

It wasn't bad, but not anywhere near the hype it seems to get from it's North LA knights.
