Never had it, TBH. But people in Florida seem to hate the stuff. I've never heard one good thing about the place. Personally I've never had a reason to venture from Firehouse. Definitely my go-to sub place.

Florida has some good sub spots so if they are from FLL for example, there is this place Laspada that is out of this world good. It has a 4.9 rating on google with over 100 reviews...on a sub shop
I like Jersey Mike's more than most chains. I haven't had firehouse many times so I won't compare the 2, but it's a huge step above the others to me

Jersey Mike's is my favorite sub place. Had it for the first time not too long ago and fell in love. The Italian sub on rosemary Mike's way is the way to go.

That is a dang good sandwich. It is better than Jimmy Johns for sure. But I agree with others in here that firehouse is better than both.

It's decent but nowhere near as good as Potbelly (king of all sub chains).

Penn Station is quality too. I don't there there are any south of central Georgia though.
To answer the OP, just as good as Firehouse and far better than Subway and other national chains.

Our jersey Mike's must be just poor quality I suppose.

their cheesesteak is the best i've ever had, and that includes the famous establishments in philadelphia.
FWIW i hate a cheesesteak "wit" wiz, so part of why i like the jersey mike's version is the fresh slices of provolone (or whatever cheese you prefer)
