I'm in charge for the first time and don't want to F it all up! I've helped a million times but never done it all myself. I figured someone here has made an instruction guide. If so, please share. Thanks.

honestly and som may disagree, but i find it very hard to frick up if you conciously monitor stuff.

there have been tons of threads done over the years with specific info. I'm sure someone can bump it.

No there's never been a thread on crawfish. Search my posts about them for the best.

Someone will come "supervise" ask them how they do it. Hell, they may even do all of the work too. It happens to me all the time, but I like to do the work, bc I want crawfish the way I like it.

Only thing that's worse is someone who doesn't know wtf they are doing and ruin them.
Usually it's a lack of flavor.

Rule # 1- Do not over cook them

Remember this- I have never had one complaint the crawfish were under cooked !

Underseasoned > overcooked

over cooking them is far worse than under seasoning them IMO. mushy crawfish is disgusting.

You can always say you are catering to the People who don't love spicy foods.

I rather them be under spicy then too spicy to eat just because I felt like being a bad arse

Maybe so, but in my experience eating crawfish under seasoning has been more of a problem than any that were overcooked.

then you're an idiot if you prefer overcooked mush to under seasoned tails.

you can make some dip to mask the under seasoning. you can't make mushy crawfish solid again.

Nothing worse than the arse hats in Alabama that think they are crawfish cooking gods because their uncles mom lived in Shreveport for a year.

I mean that's basically 100% cajun right?

That's not what I said genius.

Is rather not eat the at all if they aren't seasoned right.
Over cooked has never been a problem I've encountered.
Read harder next time.

Yeah that was pretty terrible.

I'd rather not eat them at all if they aren't seasoned right.

I'll just make a dip and cover them up if they're under seasoned. if they're overcooked and impossible to peel without falling apart, I just give up.
