Particularly a bone-in cut. Do you cut it off the bone first? I always feel like a retard trying to cut little pieces around the bone.

Do you start away from the bone and cut pieces working toward the bone or do you try to cut the bone out and then eat it like a boneless cut?

There's a piece of sinew connecting it to the bone. I just cut right down it and save the bone to gnaw on later like a caveman.

And well done, that's a given.

I was asking more about the proper way to cut a steak to eat it.

Better to just pick it up, and dip in ketchup.

So you're literally asking how to eat a steak?

Cut it 45° in relation to the grain of the muscle fibers.

I'll usually work at cutting it away from the bone between cutting off bites, just out of impatience and being inefficient at removing the bone.

Pick it up by the bone and knaw off a big bite. Chew with manly open mouth movements and swallow. Wash down with a big gulp of red wine from flagon. Wipe wine drizzle from beard on sleeve of jacket and leer at the wench beside you at table. Rip, big manly chunk of bread from loaf and consume in one bite.

Repeat.

Throw bone remnant under table to dogs lurking on floor. Laugh insanely as big dogs rip bone from smaller, weaker dogs.

Worked well for Henry VIII.

Edited to correct error in Henry's name. I was one Henry short.

I'm Henry the VIIIth I am.
Henry the VIIIth I am.
I am.
I got married to the widow next door.
She's been married seven times before.
And every one was an Henry.
She wouldn't have a Willy or a Sam.
I'm her VIIIth old man named Henry.
Henry the VIIIth I am I am.
Henry The VIIIth I am, duh, duh, duh doo duh!

Well Done. My favorite is to marinate it Heinz 57 overnight, cook it for 45 minutes as hot as I can get my grill, and then dunk it in A1.

Same here, but I like to boil mine. Delicious every time. Boiled to perfection.

I prefer to just pick it up and eat it like a hamburger.

The only way that story should end is with "so the next day I filed for divorce."

It absolutely does not involve steak sauce.
