I'll mix mustard and brown sugar and put that on top and bake it like a ham and my sons (23 & 21) LOVE it!
Wife won't go near it!

The key is to cook it. alot of things look and taste bad before you cook them. Bacon raw? no thanks. Cooked? yes please.

My problem with SPAM is that they use preservatives that are known carcinogens if they are exposed to the high temps of frying.

They load it up with vitamin c which inhibits the reaction....but I can't enjoy it psychologically because of that knowledge. Only buy it for hurricane scenarios.


(Seriously, check the nutrition facts for Vit-C....and yet they don't proudly advertise you can get your DV of vitamin c like pretty much all other prepared foods. Hmmmmmmm)

Frickin grew up with diced, fried spam and potatoes and onions.

Still make it once a year for old times sake.
