For me:

Otis -- Because he'll bring 17 gourmet dishes ...

Rohan2Reed -- Likely to bring an incredible restaurant-bought gumbo to pass off as his own ..

MeridianDog -- because he's just seems like a cool old fella

GrisGris -- because every dinner party needs a chick that can cook

Winkface -- will probably bring tons of wine

Yours ??

5 FB posters?

I don't think that p-luck dinner would end well.

My five:

Jones...his steamed fish heads are amazing
LL...once worked at a doughnut shop in my dreams
TH03...aka "head grocery sacker" to the food boarders that matter. He'll also bring the Tony's
Rag...would be a terrific before and after dinner drinking buddy
M Dawg...we're gonna need something besides fish heads to eat

My 6th man...Gug's..He has the secret recipe to Dempsey''s fries

Wouldn't really care about cooking ability. I think pretty much everyone here has enough skill to bring something tasty to a pot luck type party. I'm judging based more on who I think would be good company.

Darla - She cooks Thai food occasionally so we'd get along

Meridian Dog - Will have a K9 search to make sure he doesn't bring his camera.

GrisGris - Just a consistently good poster. My guess is probably good company as well

Coolpapaboze - Because I have some weird desire to feel poor

Glassman - I'd likely get drunk at such an event. I'm not going to be the most obnoxious drunk there so I'd invite this clown.

Solid list. I'll choose fun over gourmet any day. Not that these 5 wouldn't bring good stuff.

Ham
Tigerfootball10 (those two are the only posters I've met, so I know what I'm getting into)
Kim
Maysee
Salmon

To be honest, last three can be changed up with some other FBDers who drink good beers. Except for Zappas. I hear he's a pinko commie liberal.

I can cook a pretty mean gumbo, and I know how to boil crawfish, so I just want my guest to mostly bring whatever awesome beers they can haul, and they can bring some side dish if they'd like.

... Ditto, but I'm pretty sure GG is a good balance of "gourmet" & "fun."... And you probably wouldn't get called a dumbass & kicked out for using the wrong utensil.

Geauxt, that's makings for a stew. Get the okra and bay leaves to make a gumbo...

And I 'll have all you punks over ...neighbors are gone...we'll raid their place. They have cement pond an' all. Old Geaut's buying all the beer, likker, and shine we can drink.
