Me too. I also like the well-cooked edges & corners best, so when I make a pan of brownies, I add nuts to the top in a two-inch ring around the edge of the pan. This leaves the center nut-free for all the nut haters in the house, and they'll stay out of my edges.

The sea salt trick sounds strange, does wonders. And don't complain about the pecans, my wife will put raisins in them, terrible.

I can't stand the hard edges or corners, center cut with pecans won't last two days in my house.
