I opened it about an hour ago.
...it's GITM.

I'd drink out of a regular growler as fast as possible. 3-4 days tops after fill.
Just popped a GITM crowler from the 14th and it is Jew-say.

Not very, it'll oxidize and go flat in an opened growler. Drink it tonight.

How long in an unopened growler? 2 weeks?

What do y'all mean when you say it's juicy?

Unopened? You've got a little bit of time assuming it was filled properly and the top is decent and was tightened down. You should have a few weeks if unopened. Don't expect tap-fresh, but you shouldn't have cardboard either. That said, if you have a growler of a fresh IPA, drink that shite post haste.

It was from Hokus Pokus and had a great seal. It was made on the 16th and I just opened tonight. It made a nice "pshhhh" when I opened it so I know it was sealed properly. Guess I'll get day drunk tomorrow while I'm off.

I say 7 days, usually from when I open

I wouldn't give a hoppy beer more than 2 or 3 days. I learned the hard way.

Got two growlers for Christmas. We opened one the next day and it was great. Didn't finish it so put it in the fridge and it was already flat the next day. The other growler was opened three days later and it was also flat.
Some places fill their growlers with nitro which is supposed to make it last longer.

really depends on a lot of things for growlers which makes this questions irrelevant imo...
type of seal on growler
how was it filled
how was it stored
I've had plug top growlers last longer than screw tops and then is it a plastic screw top or metal?
