How do people justify Cane’s?

I ordered a box combo and four extra nuggets. I had a free box combo card, leaving the four nuggets. $8 for 4 nuggets! That’s absurd and highway robbery. F cane’s and FJB.

Even my 11 year old is burned out, and prefers Whataburger.
I think the biggest problem is that (at least we) have Canes, KFC, and Popeyes within a half mile of each other, not including the other quick service restaurants. We also have a Subway, Jersey Mike's, and Firehouse in the same radius.
Cane's isn't something you can eat leftovers later like sub shops, or even Popeyes. I haven't been in over a year, for the kid.
But welcome to stimulus spending and COVID bullshite regarding price.

Fast food has come full circle for me. I grew up with it being a treat, a splurge, a special outting if we did good in school for . Now my kids are experiencing my same childhood.

Well yes, I can read. I guess I’m curious if the OP can as well considering he had a menu with prices in front of him when he placed the order.
Don’t get me wrong, Canes is crazy expensive now. But on the rare occasion I go, I don’t run elsewhere to bitch about the prices because I know going into the situation what it costs.

I went today and picked up a box combo with an extra sauce for my daughter. $12.07. That’s what all meals are costing nowadays.

I never understand these threads about canes. You go there and spend money. Bitch about it. Everyone comes in with their spending at canes. It never changes. Canes has the money in question and not the posters. Really quite insane
