We will be closing our doors after service on Sunday, May 17th. Thank you to all of our guests and staff for 34 years of terrific support and memories. Please know that we are enthusiastically committed to serving you long into the future at Houston's on St. Charles Avenue, and we expect that many of our staff members will be moving to that location. We hope to see you there soon.

Wow, didn't see this coming. Place is always packed for lunch. I enjoy their fish dishes and their artichoke appetizer. I wonder why they're closing that location over the St. Charles one?

No doubt, done in by Cajun Cannon's!

Didn't realize this place had been opened for over 30 years.

Wow, I don't believe it! I didn't know they were hurting. I figured it was a cash cow.

Gotta be a lease thing or something.
This place was definitely not hurting.

Surprised but glad. Well, only happy if something better replaces it.

Good riddance. Parking won't be a PITA when I make my weekly Chili's visit.

Shouldn't be difficult.
That might be the most overpriced place in town. It always felt like a luxury Chili's.

Every time I went for lunch there was always a wait, albeit a small one but always nonetheless. Good burger too. They used to have a great angus burger years ago.

In all the years, I only went a couple times. I couldn't believe it stayed that packed with those prices. I never understood it.

There was construction going on at the old Corky's location nearby. Anybody know what's going in there?

Yay! Slightly upscale chain food at ridiculous prices! Where do I sign up??????
In all honesty though, the place did great business and a friend of mine works there so I feel really bad for him.
