By the way, i timed brew day just right. Every day this week it's been 95+ degrees outside. Today, 82 with a nice breeze.

About to crack open my FBD. Either Maui big swell or Green Flash Imperial IPA. I may save the Imperial IPA until after i've had lunch.

By the way, anyone know what kind of tree this is. I'm about 99% sure it's a myrtle, most likely crape, just want to be sure.

Just had a brew idea

It is a crape myrtle. If your idea is what i think it is, I won't tell you not to, but I will advise you want something that smells good to begin with.

I like the smell.

I'm going to try a tea first.

At a later date.

Hey! I'm brewing too. It's an Amber. Which is odd for me but it's a long story that I'll tell at a later date.

I think I know why I had a stuck sparge. Grains milled too small

It really is easy. As long as you have a little patience.

You mill your own? That's good efficiency.

I've done 6 or 7 batches of all-grain. And all of them except my first 2, my efficiency has been around 82-84%. That's mash efficiency. I'll know in about 30 minutes my brewhouse efficiency.
