This will by my first year to go. Which teams should I make sure to stop by and try first?

Every year around this time we begin to see the work some of the guys/gals put into this event. I'm always impressed. That's a lot of dedication.
It would take me over a month to figure out what to do with all that wood. Then again, I'd mess up a wet dream.

For the tent parties, do they have an age limit? I'll have my 13yo and 7mo daughters with me.
I found a link showing Pig Lebowski charges no admittance fee. Does anyone know if they have food and alcohol, and if so do they charge per portion? Is this one a good party? I'd prefer to do Deuce Pigalow, but the wifey wants to play with Jubillee

The amount of people that some of the teams have out there working full days all week long is astounding.

Let me find out you bringing a 7mo old to a Jubillee show

Thanks
And yes, she is seeing the world during her first year. She has already been to Monster Truck Jam But seriously, she is a demon baby at night if she isn't in mom's arms. Unfortunately that means we have to bring her wherever we go. If it's too much for her, we don't stay. I have earmuffs for her to block out the sound and protect her ears.

There will probably be less than 10 teams charging a "cover charge" to get in. Most teams that are cooking will probably be selling special food they won't be serving on Saturday and/or offering food and drinks for a donation. If you are willing to walk around and socialize you will have no problem eating and drinking Friday night.

Cool. Thanks. I'll be throwing down some donations at the Pig Lebowski tent then

Are beverage booths open Friday night? Can't recall.
Posted on 3/30/16 at 1:52 pm to Fox McLeod
They are, though I don't know if it's the same number or less. I was hitting up the makers with ginger ale booth last year all night long

Thanks for the info! I imagine we just do lunch at hogs. Friday night might be coquette or something more basic.
Posted on 3/30/16 at 10:25 pm to iluvdatiger
looks like its gonna rain friday anyway
Posted on 3/31/16 at 9:23 pm to Lester Earl
Can I wear rainboots, shorts and a tshirt or will people be dressed fancier on Saturday?
Posted on 3/31/16 at 9:25 pm to iluvdatiger
its a festival, you'll fit right in
Posted on 3/31/16 at 9:26 pm to iluvdatiger
There's mud everywhere. Definitely not a dressy festival. It's not essence.
