It's Americanized Chinese food...Nola is definitely lacking in authentic Chinese cuisine. I think a poster recently went to Soho Asian Cuisine at the end of Vets near the JP/Orleans line and said they have a good authentic menu.

I went to Soho on Monday and was underwhelmed. Maybe we ordered the wrong dishes but Little Chinatown was much much much better.

I really don't get the hype of Chinatown. Maybe I just prefer americano Chinese food. August Moon is my go to since it's so close.

Lunch special is great. Recommend General's Chicken with fried rice, wonton, and hot and sour soup. It is very good.
