Has anyone tried Oktoberfest at Midendorf's yet?

I think it's every Thursday for 5-6 weeks.

It’s wednesday and Thursday. Went last week for sauerbraten Food is excellent. Beers are good. Not much music though

Went last year for Wienerschnitzel, it was pretty good. I think the owner was coming around playing the accordion. Planning to go this year for the stuffed veal shoulder with wild mushrooms.

We've been going to all of them for the past several years. The quality of the food this year has really declined. Some pieces of the pork belly the first night this year had zero meat and 100% fat. The smoked pork chop was mostly gristle. Portions are smaller. Don't know why it's declined. The owners brother walks around playing the accordion way too loud. We'll still go the remainder of them.
