Hard boiled eggs sweating

Have any of you been able to prevent hard boiled eggs from sweating? Here is my process.
1. Start in cold water bring to boil, turn off heat.
2. Sit for 12 minutes.
3. Run under cold water and I add ice chunks.
4. Peel and I let sit on counter for like an hour on a paper towel to hopefully soak up some of the moisture.
5. Bag in a zip lock bag and take to work.
After sitting on a paper towel they where dry I put them in the fridge and this morning they "sweated" still. What the hell? Anyone encounter this ever and what do you do to prevent it?
Only thing I haven't tried is to poke holes in the bag, but I really don't want to do out of respect for co-workers.

You eat boiled eggs at the office, you never had respect for your coworkers.

If the air and the eggs are room temperature when you put them in the fridge, some moisture is always going to condense out. Warm air holds more moisture than cool.
Try to get as much air out of the bag as possible.

I've had this happen lately and I've wondered if they weren't cold enough when I put them in the fridge. I put paper towels in with them in the bottom of a bowl that I covered or in a ziploc bag. Not overcooked-no green rings...

quote:To each his own, but that seems like a long time. I take mine off at about the 7-8 minute mark and they're perfect.
2. Sit for 12 minutes.
