Brewery release. Apparently a collaborative with Upland Brewery.

Hopefully it's as good as commotion and not underwhelming like the rest of their lineup.

Man, that sounds good. I never heard of a mayhaw until I had HotR, but they sure do make a tasty sour.

Just wait until Parish turns South Coast into a sour.

I bought mayhaw jelly at the Bossier farmers market last Saturday, now mayhaw beer this Saturday. I'm about to exceed my previous record for mayhaw intake.

Parish already tried turning Envie into a sour

I just hope it isn't too sour like a lot of Upland sours

Man I love Duchess De Bourgeone.

Which most here say is crap. I'll add another to the list of ones to try?

I went by this weekend while I was in Shreeport. Man, this sour thing is not for me. With other types of beer I don't like, they at least resemble beer. This was almost like wine. Like a wine gone bad.

Reverse it. It's not my fault you can't taste pine and/or old lady perfume.

The first time I tried Cantillon Geuze I thought the same thing. Similar with Russian River Sanctification and Supplication.

I tried the GR mayhaw sour. It was fresh, bright, and sour like lemonade, not funky sour.

That was my first sour, so I have no idea how it compares to others.

It was interesting to try, but I don't see that style becoming a favorite.
