Better bang for the buck than Blantons.
Like the Rye for an Old Fashioned. I'm probably a traditionalist though in that I don't use bourbon for old fashioneds.

I like Bulleit if I'm mixing. If I'm sipping and smoking, I prefer Blanton's. IWDI for sure, though.

It's my go to in most bars.... at least for the first one when I don't feel like browsing the whiskey list, or staring at the back of the bar saying Ummmmmm for a solid 2 minutes while I find one I like. Bulleit is almost always there.. always reasonable and always good.
