I've seen many great things mentioned. If you could recommend any ONE thing, what would it be?

All I can say is that you will enjoy it. I think there are far too many things on the menu for me to really know what is the "best" since I've only been a few times..

What would you get at any other Mexican restaurant?

La Reyna isn't Mexican, it's Honduran... and yes, there is a difference.

yea i dont know where that comment came from.

enchiladas and tacos are good. their soups are killer. last time we went, everyone in the place had soups. mine was a beef and veggie soup where the beef was falling off the bones. was awesome

Thanks for the recs. I've also heard great things about the Puerco Guisado, fish tacos, and pupusas...

For sure. If you normally order tacos at a Mexican joint, be prepared that Honduran tacos are much different.

They're AWESOME. But they're not the taco you're used to.

Thanks, LL. That's exactly what I'm looking for - something different.

Their paella is pretty good as well as the plantains.

I really haven't had anything bad there (but it's been a while since I've eaten there)

How is this place price wise? I live really close to it but have never even thought about going there until I have heard it mentioned multiple times on the FDB

I'm always hesitant to order fish tacos (or other fish dishes) at restaurants, simply because most have resorted to serving basa catfish.

I used to go often when I lived in that area. It's good. It's cheap.

I called in a to-go order back when they 1st opened.
We didn't know what to order and we ended up with tiny amounts of food...The person who answered the phone was absolutely zero help as she could barely speak English.

I'd like to try picking up from there again, but I'm afraid we'd starve.
