So I had a fantasy draft at Oak this past Saturday.
Went over to Ale next door to grab a beer and noticed that one of the taps was for Ghost in the Machine. Figured I had to try it because of all the talk it gets on this board.
That is a damn fine beer. Lots of stuff going on with it. Was afraid that I'd be disappointed after all the hype I've read about it.
And it kind of smells like weed.

The bar said they would be getting another keg in this week.

Cheers

Yea, the bartender was actually surprised that the tap was still up meaning there was some left.

So many places have it on tap in New Orleans, it's not like BR.

From my experiences there, not many of Ale's patrons know or care about beer, which would account for it still being up.

Cause BR isn't a cocktail town. We don't let our world class IPAs sit around.

Yeah, I had one there Sunday. But I thought that $7 for 10oz of Ghost was overpriced.

It definitely tasted a little flat on Saturday at Bulldog Mid-City.

Also, yeah, $7 for 10oz. is high, but I never find myself getting a deal there so I'm not shocked by it.
