But if you want pizza and to watch the game, I'd do Schlitz, Mellow, or Red Zeppelin.

Why are you settling for either of these places?

Nothing wrong with a burger or sandwich from either for game day. Cold beer.

Ouch, those are two tough choices. I'd have to say George's.

I see my serial stalking Pawl Allen Is quick with the downvote.

A George's burger isn't downvote worthy.

I've known Smokie since the old head shop days and I like the under the overpass but I can't say I disagree with you.

Still makes a decent burger.

George's on G O'Neal, if you can put up with the constant stale grease smell that permeates your skin & clothing and can deal with the overall nastiness of the place, the food is pretty decent. Check your burger before you eat it though, as they will serve them rare.

Agree with everything you said, but since he tried to use his council position to bully the food trucks, I haven't set foot inside one of his places. Too many better options.

I don't know what he did but wouldn't any restaurant owner be against the food trucks?

I mean their not The French Laundry, but they're both fine for what they are. There is no place that is more LSU football than the Pastime. My life wouldn't be the same without it.
