Good to see more businesses popping up on or near Broad

Too bad they can't go back to their old space. Santa Fe is straight garbage.

Sante Fe exists to handle the Lola's overflow. It's serviceable food / drink at best.

Glad they are getting to re-open, but that location - OUCH.

One of the best spots pre-K. Not sure about the location, but that area is certainly gentrifying.

Will support.

Friends ate there this week. They loved the food and the service was very good. They had the bbq shrimp pie, oysters gabie, warm goat cheese salad and whole Gulf fish with crabmeat stuff with the peppermint patti for dessert.

Has anyone else gone?

It's getting better. Bringing in desirable businesses will only accelerate that process.

I used to love the one by City Park and enjoyed Sonnier's food when he was at Kingfish (home of my favorite happy hour) but I don't know about this location. I wish him luck.

I hope it works. They've been through a lot over the years.

Always nice to see folks making their dreams reality. Always nice to see comeback from Katrina stories. This is both and more.

Amen to that MD.
They could have given up and moved away, especially after the city screwed them over when they tried to open the last place.
Just kept working hard and now they are back. I wish them nothing but the best.
