I thought about this when Zach said Lucy can't open Tupperware unless it is labeled yesterday. I can't eat meat with bones in it. I can cook it that way but the bone has to be out before I put the meat on the plate I will eat from.

Anyone else have kitchen and food issues they would care to share that seem odd to others?

I like every bite to be the perfect bite.

Also, like to finish my sandwich with my last chip.

Same with burger and last fry.

I can't eat leftovers more than one day old. If I don't eat it by the next day I have to throw it away.

I can't have different foods on my plate touching each other.

Me either.

If I'm eating rice and gravy I eat out of a kids section plate so my gravy doesn't get on the rest of my food.

I prefer this not to happen. I actually have some very cool ceramic sectioned plates that I use a lot for this reason. I don't mind the roast and rice 'n gravy touching because it's all the same, but I don't want the juice from the peas or the dressing from the salad running into my gravy or on my protein or other sauce. I want to taste the individual flavors. If I wanted them all together I would have cooked them in one pot or pan.

This is why I detest the habits of restaurants piling the proteins atop a starch or vegetable for presentation. I like the juices from the protein to be with the protein, for the most part, rather than consumed by some filler mash potatoes.

I have food addiction. Some OCD would probably help me out.

I feel the same way about wanting to taste the individual flavors.

My section plate is a white plastic plate with farm animals on it and the ABC's printed around it. I have literally had it since I was a kid. I will be crushed if something ever happens to that plate.

Madame, my other problem is that I love meat on the bone, but I want to clean that bone off at the table and I have anxiety when in a restaurant or at someone else's home and I can't do it. I'll take the bones home from a restaurant. I mourn the loss of them at someone else's home.

Maybe you should retire it so nothing will happen to it and break in another one.

I can't find another one just like it.

It has perfect deep sections. One big section and two small sections.

Hearing the food in other people's mouths. Heck, I can't even stand to hear myself chew so I usually eat with the TV or music on.

You can imagine how I feel at the grocery checkout when Shaniqua is cracking away at her Bubble Yum.

I was coming to post almost that exact thought.

You have no idea how badly I want it to become socially acceptable to eat meat off the bone with my teeth while still at the table.
