I searched and didn't see anything. I went Friday evening and had a pint of the lager and the other 4 in one of those taster things. Liked the lager the best, but the first Ale down was good too(I can't find a listing-even on their site). The DPA was a bit much for me(no surprise) but I did not hate it. The spiced ale was my least favorite. I'll go back whenever in town and look for the lager elsewhere when it gets out.

I know some people involved with this and hope it does well.

Mecca desperately needs a place like this. For by the looks of it, they did a great job the design.

They will make a killing if the beer is half-way decent.

It reminded me of the Great Raft place, and to some extent, the beer.

Monroe is still very much a BMC town but I can see the town going nuts for a local beer.

Cottonport in sterlington had a good stout before I moved away. I wonder how they are doing now.

They're closed

But now Ouachita Brewery has thier a brew pub open I think. I like their Amber. It's just an amber, but it's pretty tasty. I need to check out Flying Tiger...

We hit Trapps on Saturday for lunch. They may have my all-time favorite poboy bread. No cuts on the roof of my mouth. Also, they use that hard to find squarish hamburger buns that are somewhat sweet. I'll be going there erry time I'm up that way.

I had Quachita's brown ale at Sage before they opened. It was promising.

Yea Trapps does a fine poboy. Their food is pretty solid all the way around really. I just wish they shucked oysters like their predecessor Bayles Landing. Used to love sitting on the river pounding beer and .25 oysters.

Wasn't even an option for the poboy. Had to get shrimp.

I'll have to visit them next time I visit. I used to live on North 4th street.
