Anyone ever go? They are having a cook-off tonight, and they want people to bring in their best "cheesey" foods for a chance to win Saints-vs-Colts tickets.

I've been for trivia and it is a cool bar, with a pretty good BBQ joint in the back. I wonder how packed it gets with the promise of anything free.

Also food board peeps who want to try and win something with their cooking skills this may be fun.

I might make something; haven't decided yet. I'm on a diet so I've been staying away from the "good" cheeses.

They have this type of themed cook-off for every Saint's game. You have to be there before the kick-off to get the free food at halftime. If the games are at noon I'll watch because i am usually there on Sunday mornings. A lot of the food is really good.

I've only been a couple of times. I've been looking at a few houses in mid-city and was trying to get to know the area better.

I was going to get there for 6:30. Also thinking about making something. But probably won't have time.

No doubt. A pint of NOLA Blonde is 3.50. That is a bargain.

It really is. For Saints games they do buckets of 5 domestics for 8.00. Pretty decent if you ask me.

I agree and also the owners are really cool, they kept giving out free drinks one night I was there. Its a good spot, and Boo-Koo BBQ is pretty good too.

They also have Nacho's with pulled pork and beef brisket, and chicken I want to say.

Really good. BooKoo has smoked Pork Cuban sandwiches and Ban Mi as well. Both really good.

Plan to go there tonight with a small group then end up at Shamrock's after to play some pool and table tennis.

They have "smoke-free" days but people still smoke in there. I'm not a tobacco smoker so I think its good to go no smoking, but to each his own I guess.

I have been twice on non-smoking days. I smoke and I thought it was pretty pleasant.

The 50 x 30 portrait of glassman that hangs over the bar is a nice touch. The velvet holds up really well.
