I ordered this thing back in November of last year, and it finally arrived today. Great surprise. I'll report back once I've used it.

They ran a special in Nov. normally $99 but got it for $89 think it was right at $100 with the shipping. It is considerably lighter than a normal cast iron skillet. Very smooth inside as well.

What's so special about it that it took 7 months to deliver?

It was an huge hit on Kickstarter. They raised over a million bucks to get it off the ground. They had to fulfill a shite ton of initial orders.

What makes it lighter? Just thin metal?

I got mine a few weeks ago, but I have not had a chance to use it yet. The quality looks excellent. Nice smooth bottom.

I would recommend.

So what advantage is there over a cheap Lodge?

Thinner and lighter. The smoothness is something a lot of small manufacturers are solving with sandpaper/sanding wheel

Very Nice!
I know of someone on a grill forum that got one and cut part of the handle off so it would fit more centered on the grill. That to me was stupid!

Here is their website. Get on their email list and and they will email you when to buy. That's how I ordered mine.

Do you have to season it?

Smoother, thinner, lighter.

With that said, I don't see myself dropping $100 for one anytime soon.
