Bud Rip's is a top-10 NOLA bar for me. I love it. Weird. Divey. Pool table. Surprisingly solid beer selection. Patrons are always interesting to chat up.

The only thing I don't remember is the beer selection. Of course, we were 16/17 and just drank bud heavy and kept ourselves.

I don't think its all that funky. Pretty straightforward saison, just light on the carb. Maybe you had a bad bottle? Pretty clean here

It's weird.. it wasn't funky in a tart or sour way or anything like that. Just the weirdest foot aftertaste. I don't know.

FBD after a couple glasses of malbec is lagunitas cappuccino stout. One of my favorite stouts / coffee stouts. Way better than the abita IMO.
