What the hell. These hops aren't getting any fresher.

I didn't. Took too long for me to brew the clone, and the hops in the ZD weren't getting any fresher.

Will brew it again for sure, and hoping to get some ZD in the next few months from my Chicago source.

First--founders double trouble dipa (very citrus/grapefruit > piney hops)
Second--dark horse double crooked tree dipa (more boozy than hoppy)

Not as bad as I was hating you when you got up to Alchemist and HF.

Got the unleaded version in my fridge now. Did you enjoy it, despite the booziness?

Enjoyed it. Really hard to accurately rate since I had a dipa prior to it. Definitely more of a malt backbone and stronger etoh taste (which I don't mind) compared to the founders dipa

The Founders double trouble this year is awesome. Better than Bell's Hopslam, IMHO.

I've heard the Founders DT was really good. I haven't tried it yet.

Still, surprised the Double Crooked Tree didn't stand up to it. That's one big arse beer.
