I would say a week is about the shortest you could get by and they've probably been hanging around for a week or so.

It was a variantfof a Belgian wheat that I was unfamiliar with. Apparently it was something that hasn't been popularly brewed since the 1800s. The story they spun for TV was that they used filtered swamp water for the brew, then tossed in some mayhaws and Rose of Jericho for good measure. The former for a fruity tartness, the latter because it's used in voodoo for spells of good fortune.

The final product was too thin, too flat, had the nose of dirty diapers, and kinda bland in the flavor department. As for the brew time, they actually brewed the beer a month ago and it's just been sitting.

What type of beer did they brew?

Some belgium turd style that people haven't brewed in years. They revived it from the dead so they could use the word zombie and threw in a Katrina tie to the show. Made for TV, but the crawfish were good.

I hope the Who Dat chant makes it on the show.

I'm not starting a new thread because I can't carry it, but I don't get on a plane without a drink. FBD is Andygator.

Where you headed?

Wife's flying out to SD today and I'll be following her over there on Tuesday.

I'm doing the Epcot world of beer tour later, but for now I'm on the patio enjoying the peaceful sounds of the golf course at the resort.

Heading home to Nashville for the weekend. My sister and I are surprising my dad and running a half marathon with him in the morning.

Nothing good comes from The Saint after 2:00 am. Only regret, VD, and a hangover. Godspeed, Trey.

That's sweet of you. Get a big cup of Sue at the Airport on the way out of town.

I actually didnt care for MW. It was too boozy for me and tasted like Black Tuesday with a few tablespoons of instant coffee added. I guess I was expecting more coffee like you get from a fresh BCBCS.

I preferred the DB Huna by a good margin.
