I found chocolate rain to be sweeter and boozier than mw, i thought the bitterness of coffee helped balance it. Db huna was amazing as well, so complex, but i got more spice from it than barrel.

For sure, liquid Diabetes as has been the case with all the Bruery stouts I've tried.

I thought the barrel presence was dialed in just right on Double Barrel. Brandy Huna was over the top when it was fresh. DBH let the spices shine through and complemented them rather than muting them.

It was a variantfof a Belgian wheat that I was unfamiliar with. Apparently it was something that hasn't been popularly brewed since the 1800s. The story they spun for TV was that they used filtered swamp water for the brew, then tossed in some mayhaws and Rose of Jericho for good measure. The former for a fruity tartness, the latter because it's used in voodoo for spells of good fortune.

The final product was too thin, too flat, had the nose of dirty diapers, and kinda bland in the flavor department. As for the brew time, they actually brewed the beer a month ago and it's just been sitting.

Gotcha. Always have to put that voodoo spin on New Orleans somehow.
