Best bartenders in the city, and they love me for some reason.

Pliny in a Marriott Hotel Bar.......I think its all a scam to get you drunk and steal your kidney. Better not have anymore.

It's suppose to be a seasonal which is why im shocked its still on tap. It's been on tap here since October. Not complaining tho, my favorite local brew.

Then you are in luck because it's not seasonal anymore, it's year round now. In fact, cans should be out in the fall.

5BD&6BD-Plinys. Or is it Pliny's?

Soon, I will either be channeling my Inner Zappa or donating a kidney. Could go either way at this point.

And the real shitshow will be tomorrow night when we celebrate the completion of our training with Thirsty Thursday at Toronado.

Dean, your posts have been my guide.

The information you supplied in several threads has been so helpful. I need a DeanLA for my trip there in July!

Is Toranado still cash only in SF?

Yall did work last night. Very nice little selection from around the country. A lot of new beers and new faces in this thread.

Kim! Be careful on your road trip today!

I had a sip of that Timber Beats cask...

Then I ordered Covington's Bombastic IPA and it was a pretty easy drinking IPA. No real complaints about it.

Then I had a taster of Southern Tier 2XMAS in June.. lol It was pretty nice. Similar spice in that one or maybe just a brewhouse flavor as Pumpking. Might be Sage that I'm picking up, I'm not sure but I liked it.

At the meeting I had a bunch of homebrews that were all pretty good and I finished the night up with a shot of the espresso IRS from stone.

The prices were all pretty good on all of the Southern Tier brews and the New Belgium stuff. They had lots of Lips of Faith stuff there.

I did survive. I switched to vodka and now my head is pounding.

Was a good evening though.

Last night's beer lineup...

Lazy Magnolia Timber Beast on cask with sage - Definitely strong sage, but I liked it.
Covington Bombastic IPA - Very nice easy drinking IPA.
Southern Tier 2XMAS - Just a taster, but enjoyable, very strongly spiced.
Southern Tier Backburner Barleywine - Delicious, best beer of the night.
Stone Oak-Smoked Old Guardian - A little too heavy on the smoke in this one. Not bad, but I would prefer the regular Old Guardian or the Backburner.
New Belgium Rolle Bolle - Something light to finish the night off.

Also had a few homebrew samples, always good stuff.

Will do. Not many, if any, beers for me until tomorrow night.
