FBD: Stone Enjoy By
SBD: Heady Topper

Not really a fair fight. Both are great, but heady is just in another league.

AC went out this evening. Was gonna be a one beer night, but circumstances dictated otherwise.

FBD Sierra Nevada Flipside - I really enjoy this and think it will be even better when the weather cools off a bit. It screams autumn to me. Nice mix between red ale and IPA.

SBD Stone Enjoy By 10.25.13 - great aroma, so drinkable.

TBD Surly Coffee Bender - probably the best brown ale I've ever had, just ahead of Moose Drool and DFH Indian Brown. Just enough coffee to let you know it's there without being overpowering.

They must if changed the brew or something. The coffee was so overpowering in that one when I tried it. Going to have to get more to try.

I had to go to Vermont to get more than 1 or 2 cans at a time.

Then you don't want anything to do with my homebrewed espresso imperial stout.

I have nothing against the coffee flavor, just thought it was a coffee drink with a little beer. More of a sweet coffee, like a Starbucks double shot drink.

It does make me wonder because I know that someone else said the coffee wasn't that present in the beer.

the bender was really really good. the coffee bender was so overpowering that i would have a hard time finishing a 16oz pour.

maybe we got some bad ones.

Denver is an amazing city in general, it makes me sad to not be there. :/
