I remember when we used to be cool. Now you don't even close your eyes when I kiss your lips.

Did you purchase that one near that beach, or did you transport it with you from home?

I had 2 of these -- bourbon, 4 cubes, full. Normally neat, but it's hot out.

Well, I know they are sold elsewhere besides California.

Where you at, dude? Allagash is fantastic, but White is really fricking bland. They have done some shite that really wows me.

FBsD: Samplers of the wheat, amber and stout from Desert Water Brewing at their facility just outside of Artesia, NM. Just happened to stumble upon them while on my way south to Carlsbad.

Nice lady runs/owns the place. Beers aren't anything great, but a nice pit stop to wet the whistle.

They had one I couldn't stand, I shared it with Kim actually. It was drinkable but no way could I do more than one. Came in a black bottle with a black label.

Chi-town at The Local...limited taps and wanted something light to start. That's the only Allagash offering here, but I was still expecting more.

Anybody on here ever tried Knee Deep Brewing? They have a bunch of IPAs on tap at ABV Pub as part of a tap takeover. Reviews look pretty good. I think this brewery is just starting to be distributed here. Will probably go there for one on the way home from work.

Yes, and they've always underwhelmed given their status on Beer Advocate. They seem to think all IPAs need to be >10% ABV, and the booziness outshines the hop flavor.

According to Untappd I've had several of their beers, all of which I rated 3.5 bottle caps or better.

I think I'm going to break out that Sticky Hands tonight.

That's a good one. That one is a one off - I believe it is not quite as good as their original recipe. Block 15 brews Sticky Hands every month - they brew the original recipe every other month, and a one-off every other month. Sometimes the one-offs are great, sometimes they are just really good. I've yet to have one that was not really good.

You just happened to hit town in June, and they brewed a one off called High Point in June. The original recipe is coming out tomorrow.

Lupilin River looks good.

Their beers are on this list:

ABV Taplist

Boo - the beer list at ABV is probably 99% different from what it was when you were here last week. I love that they turn over their beers so fast...

My buddy that goes with me to Block 15 releases (he's the beer manager at Whole Foods) is goint to start working at ABV as the beer manager, next week. He had better give me the inside scoop on new releases.
