Beer fridge cleanout.

I've got some Wasatch Polygamy Porter and Fort Collins Chocolate Stout in my fridge that I am not going to drink.

Cook them down and make a BBQ glaze or sauce for some ribs.

That sounds great. Maybe add some Steens? We talked about using them for a marinade a few weeks back, but I like this idea.

FBD: Piraat Ale - fantastic Belgian IPA. You guys can keep that Saint Arnold Endeavor shite. This stuff is where it's at.

SBD: Good People Snake Handler double IPA. Yet another one that beats the hell out of Endeavor.

Yeah, I'm hating on Saint Arnold tonight.

Until the Endeavor, I had not tasted a St. Arnold brew that I thought was anything but average. I've really enjoyed the Endeavor however. The fragrant and complex hops are great IMO.

Well done Saint Arnold

I honestly can't believe this is a Saint Arnold beer, and is available year round now

I'm very impressed

I made a smoked meatloaf last weekend and made a balsamic stout reduction for the top. Good stuff.

I'm going to hold on to the last bottle of BCS I have to see how much it'll sell for in late october/early November.

I'll start the bidding at $50 a bottle.

I picked up a bunch of bootleg beer for MS tomorrow.

a flat of strawberry and a few Endeavors. Also, Mardi gras bock was $4.something at Calandro's. I had no problem picking it up as a weekend beer at that price.

I'd like to think that I'll be able to survive the summer without BCS, but please do hold on to that last bottle just in case.

Did I just get a bad bottle? I had to pour half of it down the drain it was so bad. Tasted like mosquito repellent. I've had 4 different IPA's since then that were all head and shoulders better.

Calandro's, Matherne's, Marcello's and Cuban Liquor all had numerous 4-packs of BCS within the last 2 days. It's still available without looking too hard.

And that's my TBD.

Try it again. I know you like more balance in your IPAs and this one is over the top hoppy in the American West Coast style, but I can't see doing a tetu on it. The citrus, piney, tropical fruit smells are so good and the taste and mouthfeel are great as well.

Good. I did not see any at Matherne's when I was last there. I'll stock up this weekend.

Not really, we've just got a really good setup for the St. Paddy's day parade with Beauxregard.

Let me know when you're up there.

I'm not sure what happened for you. It's not terribly well balanced, but more like a west coast IPA

I'd give it another try, when you have someone around that can finish it for you if you don't like it
