If it has been a few years since you've had this beer give it a try again. Pretty damn solid if you ask me.

I remember the first time I tried regular AB when I was getting in to craft beers. Blew my mind.

Any of the FBD Krewe have your contact info?

SBD was another Hopitoulas. TBD back home is a Surly Abrasive.

SBD --

My FBD was pretty underwhelming. I'd never tried Sisters of the Moon before, and I won't try it again. I wouldn't say it was BAD, it just...there are plenty of IPAs out there that are so much better and just as readily available.

FBD is a NOLA Hopitoulas draft at Schlittz and Giggles.

I've yet to have Hopitoulas from the tap and that really frustrates me.

I have not tried that one either. We are lucky to live in a great time for craft beer. No need to drink meh beers these days.

That can be easily remedied. It is available all over BR. I think it is an above average IPA, but not a great beer. It is a good option at places that don't have great tap selections.

It's an Eastern NC beer, I don't know how widely they distribute. I wanted to give them a shot before I move back to LA and wouldn't have another chance. Oh well.

I really enjoy it. I'm starting to find out that I like IPAs, but I don't like extremely hoppy stuff. I can drink it, but I don't really enjoy them (like palate wrecker or ruination). I like that the hops are milder than a lot of IPAs. I call it an "easy drinking" IPA. I feel like I could easily drink a whole 6 pack without getting tired of it. But I have heard it's much better on draft.. Last time I went to the Bulldog I didn't see it on draft on their list or on the taps. I think the Londoner has it on tap now, though. Next time I head to BR I definitely want to find it on tap.
