FBD: Chimay Blue. This beer never disappoints. So solid-like an old friend. My comfort beer.

I am not a fan of any Chimay beer actually. I will always find something that appeals to me more. I'm not saying it's a bad beer, I just do not see the hype in it. I know it's readily available in just about every where in amurica, I will always grab something else.

Was glad to see one in San Diego too

Not sure if it's as good as San Francisco's though

I like it too. For 10%+ it hides the alcohol well.

You just don't like Belgian ales evidently and there is nothing wrong with that. You like what you like. Chimay, although mass produced and readily available, is still a world class beer. I am particularly fond of the Blue.

I would love to try this beer. The only Deshutes I've had is Hop in the Dark, which was excellent.

You got a pic of that second one? I'm not familiar with it.

I have no idea why you would even say I don't like belgians, because that is not what I said. I said I do not care for Chimay, any style they are the least favorite of the trappist styles. Blue is a Belgian Strong Ale to be technical.

This is quickly becoming my go to daily beer to have in the fridge. So damn good. Now I'm going to drink one once I get off this train.
