It's all good, you're right. We're second tier. According to Untappd we're the #2 rated Meadery in the world as of today. Calling a spade a spade is okay.

West Coast meads really haven't been en vogue just yet. I think that's changing. For the most part it seems to be a NE phenomenon.

Right now it's all about Schramm's (MI) and Superstition (AZ). Superstition can be ordered online. Nectar Creek is in OR but I haven't tried any of their stuff. Sky River (WA) makes some solid stuff albeit on the drier side.

Beers 4-6 are clown shoes whammy bar (meh but it was old), Covington electric porter (malty and nice but not sure it's a porter) and a fantastic dieu du ciel imperial stout...

FBD. Even a cellared west coast style ghost is better than a lot of other ipas out there.
