FBD after shooting some pistols at the range with my pops. Bayou Teche Biere Noel at the source.

This is a really good beer.

I thought it was pretty good, but not nearly as good as the one from a couple years ago that was an imperial porter with tart cherries.

I don't like tart in my beer. Don't like sours, so probably why I liked this one more than last year's.

2BD going old school.

FBD homebrew pale ale

A bit too perfumey with the pine needles, but otherwise decent

I'm not super knowledgeable about them either, honestly. From what I gather, Moonlight isn't on the level of the big players in the game like Schramm's or I think Superstition, but I think the few I've had were solid. They're also not THAT expensive, relatively speaking, and I feel like they are helping me at least understand what I like/don't like from the style.

This actually isn't a mead, it's a cider, but it's not bad. Ciders are another style I'd like to explore. I've had a few that were very enjoyable.

If I got into ciders, it would be the death of me.

How's H&G? Headed that way in 2 weeks, staying around the corner.

Have you heard anything about Zilker Brewing's taproom? Or Cuvée Coffee? Both in that hood too. I think we are going to avoid Blue Owl, not a fan of the tarts
