FBD and SBD were Parish Dr. Hoptagon at Niche. Ran into a couple fellow FBDers.

Pretty good black IPA. Pleasant aroma and flavor. Nice even balance of the citrusy, piney hops with the bittersweet, roasted malt backbone. Medium bodied and goes down easy. Very satisfying.

I've been told the bottles may have a little more hop kick. That wouldn't be a bad thing.

I've never been here, but based on the location I'm surprised it's still open. That place was about 8 different restaurants during the 5 years I lived in Baton Rouge.

What we had tonight was pretty good. Blackened redfish, crawfish topping, two kinds if potatoes (strange but good) and some sautéed onions I think.

I know a new chef came in, seems some new things were introduced, but the menu wasn't half bad to start with.

Did not care for. I would rather eat my curry than drink it.
