I am a fan. I am more tolerant of maltiness than some. I think Odells IPA is a better beer though.

Only BD is this gem courtesy of Wise. Lives up to the hype. The nose is a striking balance of citrus and tootsie roll, really interesting. Flavor is complex and robust. Will seek out again.

Yeah, I like it too. The hoppy, citrus nose is what makes it stand out from other Black IPAs IMO. This beer is more IPA than roasty, which I like. Nice balance between the 2 though.
